Valerie Theresa Letner Dorval, 47, of Otto, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012.

Born in Wilmington, DE, she was the daughter of Roy A. Letner and Elizabeth Marie Pinkowski Wilhelm Letner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Dorval, who died February 23, 2012. Valarie was a hairdresser and was of the Catholic faith. Valerie loved to read and spend time with her boys.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons, Jesse Luke and Dawson Blane Dorval both of Otto; brother, Robert Wilhelm of Otto; niece, Nicole Wilhelm of Candler, NC and nephew, Robert C. Wilhelm of Cashiers, NC.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 19th, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral home. Rev. Davis Hooper will officiate.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Angel Hospice General Fund, 170 Church Street, Franklin, NC 28734.
