Funeral service for George "Gio" Nichols, 42, will be Monday, January 15, 2007 at 2 p.m. at his graveside in Daytona Memorial Park. He passed away Thursday at Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial. Gio was born in San Diego and moved to this area only last Monday. He was in the security department with Disney for 18 years. He was a graduate of DBCC and he loved computers and any electronic gadget. He will be sadly missed by his friend, Ellena Xeniti; his mother, Antigone Nichols, Greece; his sister, Athena Chase, Ormond Beach; nephews, Ronald Liddell, Michael and Katrina Knight, Ormond Beach; great-nephew, Mikie; cousins, George Nikoletseas, Las Vegas, Donnie Nichols and Julie Nichols, Ormond Beach, Evans Nichols, New York; best friends, Louie Manolas, Port Orange, Elias Antoniau, Tarpon Springs; and good friends, Mary and Manny Manolas, and Patricia and Willis Armstrong.
