Donnie was a very wonderful person to know. He introduced me to the person I married Charlie Bumgardner. I will always remember his beautiful smile.

This wonderful young man was my cousin, and what a great one he was! He would tease me at every oppertunity, and then grab me in  his arms  and twirl around with me...   His smile could light up a room. and his sense of humor was the best. Forever missed and forever loved...  

Donnie is my nephew.  One of my older sisters, Audrey, is his mother.  Still remember that day just like it was yesterday when we received word of his death in Vietnam.  Gone but not forgotten!

He was a very fun guy in school.  When I went to the wall in D.C., I traced his name.  Too young.  Thank you for your service Donnie.  You are still remembered. Love Dorothy
