I met Dave freshman year at St. Joe’s. He was one of the nicest guys you would ever want to hang with. Dave was an outstanding athlete and finished in the top 10% of our class scholastically. He received a full scholarship to play football for Columbia. I can remember driving to New York City to visit Dave and catching one of his football games. His Mom and Dad were both very proud of Dave. We worked together at machine shop In Euclid while in high school. Dave was a class act and we lost him way to soon. I still stay in touch with his sister Rosemary.

My many memories of Dave started shortly after his adoption by the Hahns. I went to grade school and high school with Dave. He was one of the finest natural born athletes I knew. He excelled in several sports and was equally outstanding in the classroom. His father Bob was extremely proud of his abilities.
