Ralph ZZ Wroblewski
1935-08-12 2015-04-25I had Mr Wroblewski for American History in junior year. He was an excellent teacher, "college level" if you will. I actually have kept my notebooks from his class - - which includes page after page of the "terms" about which Mr Wroblewski had us write little synopses. (I also held onto my copy of The American Pageant by Thomas Bailey, which is the text that my son used in high school!). Way back then I thought that this stuff had value and would be worth holding onto. I can picture him at the head of the class, standing over the overhead projector, talking about Shay's rebellion or Richard Hofstadter. It was clear that the subject matter had life for him, and he felt a mission to pass on his knowledge and impart a sense of our country's complex history.
