I have to heartily echo Ed Meil’s. I too had Mr. Robertson for Calc and Analytic Geometry. I started out my undergrad in math at University of Dayton. I have walked a rather jagged path in my math career. His memory inspired me to continue pursuing my passion, especially when that path was not easy. I have tried to pass along his best efforts and characteristics to students that I work with. He inspired me to pursue and be awarded a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering as well as now, a potential math degree. Mr. Robertson. Your legacy lives on in each of us who you taught Calc to. Love and peace always, Joe Wisniewski

I had Mr Robertson for Junior year Calc and Analytic Geometry. Mr Robertson was one of my older brother's favorite teachers (math and yearbook moderator for him), so I was happy about getting him for a teacher. For some reason, my brother referred to Mr Robertson as "Smokey" but I never saw him with a cigarette in hand. Mr Robertson was passionate as a teacher, serious and committed. He also had a good sense of humor and perspective. After all these years I still remember "De Morgan de pirate" although I have no idea what the De Morgan theorum is anymore. When I think about the teachers at St Joe's who prepared me for my college academics and life beyond, Mr Robertson is one of those at the top of the list.
