Funeral Mass for Robert J. Turoczy, age 71, will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Gabriel Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township.
Mr. Turoczy died March 7, 2011.
Born June 24, 1939, in Cleveland, he lived in Willowick before moving to Painesville 20 years ago.
He was a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
After 42 years of service, Mr. Turoczy retired in 2005 as a teacher at Lake Catholic High School in Mentor and a former teacher at St. Joseph High School in Cleveland.
Survivors are his wife of 44 years, Alice K. Turoczy (Wesoloski); daughters, Kathryn (David) Galbraith and Kristen (Shawn) West; grandchildren, Aiden and Keara Galbraith, and Noah and Emma West; and many nieces and nephews .
He was preceded in death by his brother, Steve Turoczy.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Monreal Funeral Home of Eastlake, 35400 Curtis Blvd. 44095. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio at a later date.
