Ray Golick, age 83, of Euclid passed away July 10th, 2020; a longtime industrial arts teacher and an administrator at St. Joseph High School. Loving father of Kathy McQuaide (Jim), Karen and Shelly McDonough (Tim); Beloved grandfather of Jim, Colleen, Bridget (Phil), Maggie, Emily, Claire, Marin, Jack, Pat, Danny and Brian. Brother of Elaine; Former spouse of Peg. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday July 18th at 9:30 am at Ss Robert William Catholic Church 367 East 260th St. Euclid OH. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Friends may call on Friday July 17th, from 5-8pm in the Corrigan-Deighton Funeral Home 21900 Euclid Ave. Euclid OH. 44117. Mr. Golick was my mentor freshmen year, since I did not speak English & he spoke Slovenian, so we got along just fine. He thought me that hard work in class & English night school will pay-off in time. I believed in his guidance and took it to heart. He patience and interest in my progress endeared him to me and the rest of the Tech building. No sugarcoating and to the point, which I valued. Just a great person to have crossed my life's path, and I am grateful to have known him. May he rest in everlasting piece. God bless!
