Thanking all of you this am. I am back on my piece of green so quiet by comparison except for moos and whinnies. I really cherish these new memories and you having been and coming back into my life! Melinda

Dear Friends, Thank you for inviting me to join you last evening at the class reunion. It was good to catch up with you after fifty years. I'm so very proud of you for your achievements in life, but more importantly, the fine men and women you have become. Thank you for your kind words about the TJ Speech and Debate Team and the influence it had on your lives, both then and now. Old teachers universally ask one question of themselves, "Did I make a difference in someone's life?" Thank you for answering that question for me. Special thanks to Tracey for tracking me down and inviting me to join all of you. You did a great job Tracey! I was asked last evening if I felt honored. My response was "yes", but more than that I felt humbled by being in your presence. Warmest Regards, Gary

I had so much fun this weekend, and am actually sad because I want to spend more time with everyone! Hopefully, we can all get together sooner than in 10 years! I would also like to thank you so much for all of your hard work on the planning committee. You guys did a fantastic job! Everything was perfect! It was so fun to reconnect with you!

To the Committee: Thank you to everyone for providing such a marvelous time this weekend for our 50th reunion. It was a resounding success and could not have gone better. I appreciate all the work and effort each of you put forth in bringing old friends together to catch up and reminisce about the formative years of high school. I quite enjoyed reconnecting with many friends that I had not seen in decades and talking with others who I did not know well at TJ. The combination of events was perfectly planned and executed and the venue and food were outstanding. I know that there is so much done behind the scenes to pull off such an endeavor and most of us will never know a fraction of all that you did. But you have my most heartfelt gratitude. Here’s looking to the 60th, but hopefully, it won’t come too soon ????. Kind regards, Dave Bullock

Remembering the special tribute assembly we had when Jim Croce died, filled with pictures and his music. The staff and faculty were really amazing in how tuned-in they were to our hearts...

I think it was funny that Mrs. Hyman's room on the second floor was next door to Mr. Semin! My favorite days at school were the Fridays during football season when the Pep Club decorated the school corridors. I loved to see what they had come up with to celebrate the weekend. The pep rallies in the gym were a blast, too.

Cardboard hamburgers with mustard, blue girls' gym suits', sitting out on the hill. Falling asleep during 4th period Dean's Assist (found out I had mono & no wonder I was sleeping all the time) Passing "the one" you had a crush on in the hall, too afraid to say Hi.

With a happy and thankful heart: Singing in Mr. Mac's choir... my favorite memories!!! (I often think of singing Bridge Over Troubled Water at 1973 graduation and what that song meant for our close classes at TJ that year) *** EVERY All-School spring show: Oliver, Sound of Music, Carousel, and How to Succeed in Business... extra special times I will never forget Cheering on our TJ Spartans at athletic events and in everything else!

Sitting next to Jimmy Miller to take the SAT on a Saturday morning in the TJ lunchroom. He pulled out his plastic zippered pencil holder and pulled out 12 perfectly sharpened #2 pencils and lined them up.
