Perkasie, PA (upper Bucks County):

(“Earth Hour” – Lights Out around the world)

I am currently working for a large steel reinforcing firm in
Allentown, PA - and detailing a section of wall for the World Trade Center Memorial in New York. Drafting was my favorite and most comfortable class in High School. Nevertheless, my real passion has been the Humanities, which I've been studying since around 1980. My goal had always been to experience and learn as much as possible.
In March of 1974 I entered the United States Marine Corps, which was like being on a chain gang (OO-rah!); I had the good sense to enlist as a Reserve. After two years of that I entered the active duty Air Force and served in
California and England as a hospital medic, and partied a great deal off-duty around Los Angeles and then Cambridge and London.

After being discharged from the Air Force I moved to San Francisco. I was accepted at SF State in 1982. I worked on a Psychiatry ward at the VA Hospital. I did "The est Training" with Werner Erhardt. I visited and lived in Victorian gingerbread flats with various friends in and around Haight-Ashbury, and studied cultural history and criticism. I saw the 49ers parade down Broadway. Summer evenings I drove taxicab. I finally graduated with a BA in History in 1989.

In March of 1989 I returned home and worked odd jobs for several years. I worked at Ford Electronics 1994-95. In 1996 I retrained in Architectural Drafting. I had lived in Oreland and North Wales. Since 1997 I gained proficiency in drafting, AutoCAD and Windows. And during all of this time I continued studying cultural history and the humanities. I had been living in outer Montco.

I have remained single all my life – so far.

I moved here in Nov. 2007. I would like to do tutoring/mentoring for college students, and eventually do Literature or the Humanities in college full time….
I learned over the years to trust my intuitions....

I need to do some photographs for eHarmony.com....

P.S. - I was saddened to learn of the passing of so many of our classmates.
