As they say, What a long strange trip it's been.  Here's what I have been up to:  




  • Married the first time in '82, that marriage gave the world two beautiful kids and two beautiful grands (so far), but dissolved amicably enough in "11.

  • Moved out of the Phildelphia region to Maine in '18 where my second wife got a job a Bowdoin College - she teaches physics.

  • Retired from a career in film and video production, then sales enablement in '21

  • Currently having a blast working on my guitar skills and my sailboat. Paddling a wooden canoe.  Fly-fishing for trout and salmon. Am President of my local chapter of Trout Unlimited, a nation-wide cold-water conservation organization.

How time has flown!  My time @ UD wasn't the easiest time in my life and I look at so many faces and have little recollection.  I was in my own little bubble back then....

After High School I spent some time @ IUP studying Speech and Hearing.  After my dad's death, I dropped out and married a wonderful man.  After 31 years, we are happier still!  We have 2 great kids who are in committed relationships, but no grandchildren yet.  As I write this, I'm actually spending some time visiting my daughter and her husband in Salt Lake City. 
 
I finished my education @ Temple with a BSN in 1987.  I'm an RN and have mostly done home health nursing for the past 20 years.  

God has been good to me!

Sorry I won't be able to attend the reunion.  I'll make every effort to attend the next.

Comment: When I got the phone call form my old neighbor Perry Ritter (class of 71) I could not stop laughing. Now I do feel old. After 20 years of growing my business in the petroleum storage & dispensing industry, living in Goshen MD.I packed up and moved to Park City Utah. The intent of this adventure was to spend the winter of 2000 working with an old friend also from Upper Dublin, looking at options to expand his business to the east coast. That never happened, I am still in Park City. We expanded to the west coast. With my wives Catherine, Jesse and Jill and our eighteen children thing can get a little crazy but I have be able to hold body and soul together, life is good. I spend a lot of time traveling for work and pleasure. Looking forward to seeing old friends in the spring. .
