Danny L. Gutierrez, 50, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in Ventura, after an illness of one year and four months.
He was born March 27, 1957, in Los Angeles and was employed by the Federal Aviation Administration as the LAX OEP district manager.
Danny enjoyed sports, collecting coins, model cars and model airplanes and loved his work and co- workers. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Ventura.
He is survived by his parents, Roberto and Felipa Gutierrez, of Ventura; daughter, Dania G. Gutierrez of Quartz Hill; brother and sister-in- law Oscar and Beverly Gutierrez of Ventura; brother Robert Gutierrez of Santa Cruz; and niece, Alyssa Gutierez of Ventura.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 4, with rosary to be recited at 7 p.m., at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 5, at Sacred Heart Church, 10800 Henderson Road, Ventura. Interment will follow at Pierce Pros. Santa Paula Cemetery.
Donations in Danny's name may be made to the Sister Servants of Mary, 140 North G St. Oxnard, Ca 93030."
