"Jim Montooth of Visalia, age 51, passed away Feb. 19, 2009. Jim was born May 24, 1957 at Saint Johns Hospital in Oxnard, CA. He grew up in Ventura, CA and graduated from Ven tura High School. Growing up on the beach he has always had a love for surfing, sailing, boat ing, and anything on the water. He also loved his Harley and leisurely Sunday rides. Jim was a loving son, husband and father who was an Automotive Technician for many years in Visalia, before recently becoming the proud owner of Snap On Tools with a route in Porterville.
Jim was preceded in death by his father Harry Montooth and brother Richard Montooth. He leaves behind his wife of 13 years Toni Montooth of Visalia, and children Justin Montooth of Farmersville, Ash land Roadcap of Murrieta, Megan Trader of Sacramento, and Jessica Haynes of Visalia. He also is survived by his mother, Dorothy Montooth of Visalia, and sisters, Debbie Pick and Diana Green of Australia and Shirley Heusener of Homeland, CA.
