Patrick M. Rodreick
Longtime La Conchita resident Patrick M. Rodreick, 47, died as a result of the mudslide that.occurred on Jan. 10.2005.
Mr. Rodreick was born Feb. 25, 1957, in Fresno, Calif., and had moved to La Conchita with his family when he was 10 years old.
He was a self-employed landscape contractor for more than 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, the ocean and particularly hunting and fishing. He was also adept at spearfishing. Patrick will be remembered as a good neighbor and friend who was always willing to help the older residents of La Conchita.
He is survived by his mother, Muriel A. Fenley of Jacksonville, Ore.; brother Jamy L. Rodreick of Oxnard; and brother and sister-in-law Frank and Julie Rodreick, and sister, Rochelle Rodreick, all of Jacksonville, Ore.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, at the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, 3150 Loma Vista Road, Ventura.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, Ventura."
