Jodie Anne Yeary Delaney of Thousand Oaks unexpectedly passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2008, at the age 51.
She was born in Mineola, N.Y., to William and Carol Yeary. At an early age, Jodie and her brothers, Terry and Jeffrey, moved with their parents to California. She spent most of her school years in Ventura and graduated from Ventura High School 1975.
As a licensed vocational nurse, Jodie was a loving and caring nurse who brought joy and happiness to everyone she cared for. She was full of compassion and had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved her family and friends very much. Her greatest joy was being a devoted Grammy to her two young grandsons, whom she loved deeply and who, in turn, will miss her very much.
In addition to her parents and brothers, Jodie is survived by daughter, Jericho Delaney-Ross; son-in- law, Rob Ross; grandsons, Cameron and Jackson Ross; sister-in-law, Donna Yeary (Jeffrey); and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for family and friends was held on Friday, June 20, at the Chapel of the Oaks in Westlake Village."
