Since our inception, Central Pro Supply has been proud to be able to give back as part of our company mission through Profits with a Purpose. Each year we dedicate ourselves to a Central Cares initiative that supports one of our own in need. This year we are raising money in support of Chris Gibby, Account Leader based in Georgia who has been at Central for 15+ years, and his mother, Vicki.

In 1993, Vicki slipped and fell on vacation and jarred a cyst loose in her brain that ultimately made her lose her vision in one eye. She came back to Atlanta and had a brain scan, where she was told by doctors that they needed to remove this cyst.

She had surgery on the 3rd ventricle of the brain which is where the memory is. The procedure unfortunately left her with limited memory. After this surgery, she became disabled; she had to relearn to use fine motor skills and lost short term memory. She later had another baby, Jonathan, and Grandma helped raise him due to Vicki's disability. 

Today, she is 66 years old and Patricia and Chris Gibby, her son and daughter-in-law, have stepped in and have been helping take care of her the last few years. At Central Pro Supply, we admire our employees and consider us all family. That is why we are honoring Vicki with "Visits for Vicki" to help raise money to help with her care. We appreciate any contributions to help her and her family.
