| Highlights of the last 50 years.: | Lots of highlights!! 2 beautiful daughter; 3 grandkids (2 boys, one girl). They are a delight! Recently moved from the beautiful Saddleback Valley to Aliso Viejo with my partner. We enjoy traveling and have done a road trip to Yellowstone, Tetons, Mr. Rushmore, and Santa Fe NM. Also traveled to Europe on a Viking River Cruise and spent a few extra days in Paris. Last year we did a land,rail and ocean tour of Alaska with my parents and my sister and her husband. What a memorable trip that was. I am enjoying retirement and I enjoy walking my dog and attending music cruises with my brother. Life is good and I am truly blessed! |
| Share a High School Memory: | I loved being on pep squad as the "Warren Bear" mascot. I was not very coordinated, so I was usually a step behind on the routines, but it was OK. I was fine with being the "goofy" one! |

| Share a High School Memory: | Flag twirling at games with Linda Hareson, Melinda Jansen and Cindy Smith and winning the State Championships. Riding in my mom's Nova with Yvette Peterson, and riding in Mike Pera's new truck between him and Rick Asher. Everyone at Warren was so friendly and fun. |

| Highlights of the last 50 years.: | An amazing daughter who is officially 33 years old - I must have blinked at some point because this time with her continues to fly by. Proud of her in so many ways including her two Masters - English and Library Science. Auntie mom and Auntie grandma/great grandma to the children of my three sisters as they have passed away (Gayla, Cheryl and Debbie). Had a fabulous career in design and construction as a project manager - from medical to aerospace to churches to an airport terminal to gymnasiums to health centers to medical centers (including LAC+USC). Happy to be back home in Downey - it's where my heart is and my family heritage since 1921. Loving my retired life style of continuing with my volunteer work with multiple organizations and continuing to travel the world all while having a blast (do you know how many people around the world are somehow connected to Downey - I call it 2 degrees of separation not 6). Can't hide my age from any of you but understand that I identify as a 25 year old!! Very blessed, very fulfilled, very happy and loving life! AND that's iced tea not a Long Island Iced Tea. |
