It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Bowe (Poteau, Oklahoma), born in San Diego, California, who passed away on March 2, 2018, at the age of 53.

She was predeceased by : her daughter Heidi Huebner. She is survived by : her daughters, Josh Lovell of Decatur, IN and Emily Bowe of West Bend, WI; her mother Cleo Fettig of Mesa, AZ; her siblings, Christine, Dave Rookey of Baxter Springs, KS, Jessica Vogel of Gilbert, AZ, Melba, Steve Baier of Little Chute, WI and George Fettig of Slinger, WI; and also Rosa Fettig of Slinger, WI. She is also survived by other relatives, loved ones and many friends.

Patrick Fierek

Patrick A. Fierek, 37, of West Bend, died on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2002 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, due to complications from pneumonia.

He was born on Dec. 26, 1964, in West Bend, to Arden and Nancy (nee Diestler) Fierek, and graduated from West Bend East High School in 1983.

He was employed as a master engine technician at Tennies True Value Hardware in West Bend and had previously worked as a manager at Windy's Service Inc.

Patrick was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and trapshooting.

He also enjoyed racing and loved to cook, and loved his dog, Cecelia.

Survivors include his parents, Arden "Windy" and Nancy Fierek of West Bend; a sister, Michelle (Joseph) Cerniglia of Neenah; two special nieces, Courtney Cerniglia and Carly Jo Cerniglia; aunts; uncles; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9 at 3 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremation Service, West Bend.

Burial of the cremated remains will be in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Wittenberg.

Russell A. Groth of West Bend passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the age of 57. Beloved husband of 35 years to Dawn (nee Fellenz) of West Bend. Loving father of Justine (AJ Sinner) Guillaume of West Bend and Bradley (Ingrid Polinski) Groth of Sheboygan. Proud Gramps of Jayden Guillaume. Dear son of Barbara Groth (nee Frye) of West Bend. Loving brother of Beth (Rich) Kreutzer of West Bend and Lynn (Brian) Jung of West Bend. Dear Son-in-law of Bob and Mary Ann Fellenz of Kewaskum. Sisters-in-law Cindy Fellenz of Cambellsport and Nicole (Terry) Holfert of West Bend. Dear brother-in-law of Ken Fellenz of Glendale, AZ. Fond nephew of Sharon Fierke of Chandler, AZ, Michael Frye of Clinton, Iowa and Corwin (Eileen) Groth of Eldridge, Iowa. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his father Elliott Groth, grandparents Elmer and Louise Groth, Felix and Marjorie Frye, Leo and Arlene Fellenz, Harold and Betty Manthei and brother-in-law Michael Fellenz.
Russell was an avid storyteller who loved golfing, camping, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He was a graduate from West Bend East High School, Class of 1983. In his younger days he was very involved with his church, Fifth Ave. United Methodist Church where after high school he led the church youth group and assisted with the church fundraisers. He worked as an Information Technologist at Kapco Inc. in Grafton. If you would ask him his favorite beer his response would be "Cold and Free".
Visitation at the funeral home Friday, September 16 from 2 to 4pm with a service at 4pm. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family appreciated.

Jeff Gudex

Jeffrey “Gooch” Norman Gudex, age 54, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Kathy Hospice in West Bend. He was born July 16, 1965, in West Bend, WI to Norman and Lois (nee Dross) Gudex.

Jeff was a graduate of West Bend East High School in 1983 and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1987. Jeff excelled at his career in sales and marketing of consumer products and was employed most recently at Saz’s BBQ Products. Jeff was married to his former wife Pam Gudex at St. Mathews Church in 1989.

Jeff was a loving father, son, brother, and friend to everyone. The pride and joy of Jeff’s life were his three daughters. His girls will miss his humor and advice most. Jeff was a sports fanatic; he was a proud Wisconsin Badger season ticket holder and loved attending games with friends and his daughters. Jeff was a successful basketball coach and enjoyed playing softball with LR Trophy and Kruepke Trucking. He was the founder of the Holy Angels Golf Classic in 2003 and was a committed member of Holy Angels Parish.
Jeff is survived by his daughters Amelia “Mali” (Alex) Mottet, Kyra, and Leah Gudex; father, Norman Gudex; brother, Jerome Gudex; and many more family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Chloe Gudex and mother Lois Gudex.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 6:00 PM at Holy Angels Parish (138 N 8th Avenue, West Bend, WI 53095) with Fr Jerome Repensek presiding. Visitation will be at Holy Angels from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Park in the south parking lot. A private burial will be held.
A special thank you to the many doctors and nurses at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin and the staff at Kathy Hospice for their loving care.

She was predeceased by : her grandparents, Frances and Neil Reiter. She is survived by : her husband John Linton; her daughter Amber Jones (Greg) of Milwaukee; her grandson Jaxson; her mother Judy Pavelka of West Bend; and her sister Renee Silloway (Don) of Stevens Point. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
