Steven Alder
Apparently, his body was cremated within 24 hours of his death, before any investigation was conducted.
Photo is from the senior class party.
Steve was one of my best friends, starting in 7th grade. We spent a lot of time roaming the West High neighborhoods on weekends, and I was lucky to be invited to join him and his family at his cottage in northern Wisconsin. Their family was big into motor sports, and I was like a kid in a candy shop riding on snowmobiles and dirt bikes. I shudder to think now, how dangerous those times were. I lost track of Steve after high school, as he moved out west to find work in California. What a shame that his life ended at such a young age.
tribute by Pat RemingtonSteve always seemed like such a sweet, cute, kind guy and because I knew him since grade school and he lived in our neighborhood, his death was quite a sad shock. Such a tragedy that we lost him so early.
