I had a postcard her mother mailed out, of Janet in a modeling gig, wearing a fur coat. I just saved it and admired it for decades; she was radiant in the glamor shot. One of our first shocking losses.

Janet was such a beautiful, smart, fun person. As I recall, she was one of the first people to die after high school and we were all shocked and saddened.
