After HS I got my Culinary degree and worked as a chef in several different restaurants. I went to HVCC to get my Criminal Justice degree to go into Law enforcement. But life happens and I had my 2 oldest instead. I still worked as a chef but doing it for a living took the joy out of it. I was also a foster mother for 2 children who needed help via NYS. Sadly, the foster care system, family court and the State needs a lot of work. So, after a year they were returned to their mother.

I’ve always loved animals and always saved any that I could. I was in a bad car accident in 07 which caused a lot of physical issues. But I found comfort with animals. So I’ve been doing animal rescue, and other things in the animal care field. I work with a lot of rescues and shelters in the area. So if you need an furbaby reach out to me lol. Right now I foster mostly ferals for socialization, medical cases, and pregnant moms or bottle babies.

I have 4 children 3 sons (Dylan, Brennan Terry) and a daughter (Kai). My daughter is transgender and I’m so proud of her being who she is. I love all my kids no matter what. My 2 youngest are on the Autism spectrum. Terry is non-verbal and on the severe end of the spectrum. Brennan is high functioning and loves animals too. My oldest Dylan just got married to an amazing young woman. I have been with my partner Josh for 11 years and are still happy and in love. He shares my love of animals and the rescue world. I do a lot of advocacy work for many social issues and animal rights. We bought a home 2 years ago in Cohoes. We would have loved to buy one in Vliet but sadly the SD isn’t great and it’s really bad in regards to special needs kids. I also have 2 dogs, and 3 cats all rescues.

There isn’t really much else new or exciting in my life. I have however found a knack at making edibles lol. I also make regular chocolates that people love just as much. I am pretty much the same now as back then just older with more grey hair. High school was mixed. I had some amazing friends but I also had a lot of mental health issues and trauma. Which sadly the drama and things that teens deal with made it worse. I never felt I belonged so I didn’t try. I was bullied by some and I’m sure I was unkind to others too. I think for the most part high school was rough for most of us. But I think as adults we have changed for the better. I’m excited to get to know everyone again as they are now.

I currently live in a suburb north of Seattle. I've spent a lot of my life "west of the Rockies," leaving for Portland, OR the summer I finished grad school (at RPI) in summer 2000. I bounced around the country with my high school sweetheart Sam, until we parted ways in Montana. I moved back to Oregon in summer 2008, where, four years later, I met my now husband, Lars. We have two elementary-aged daughters (Dakota, 10 and Kinley, 7) and our third daughter, Mikki the Wonder Dog (aka Fearless Chiweenie Princess).

I've worked in software for almost 24 years and love it. In my spare time, I volunteer, listen to and collect vinyl records, cook, go to movies and sporting events, attend concerts and shows, and absolutely love to travel.

High school was a mixed bag for me; it wasn't bad nor was it the greatest. I was a late bloomer for sure - my shyness got the best of me until about junior year. I am looking forward to catching up with everyone and maybe even getting to know fellow classmates a little better.
