I earned my Bachelor's degree in Speech, Theatre, English Literature from Wayland Baptist University. After graduation I worked in the Theatre and television.

I earned my Master's in Education-School Guidance from McNeese State University. I have served as a professional school Counselor for 31.5 years.

I earned my Doctorate in Practical Theology/Biblical Counseling from GPS Seminary.

I have been married to the love of my life for 41 years. We have 2 beautiful and accomplished daughters and 2 grandsons.

I retired from school counseling in January 2024. I am "adjusting to" & enjoying a new lifestyle and spending time with my hubby, fur babies, children, grandchildren.

Comment: I currently live in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas for the past 5 years. Moved here after a fire burned down my house in DeSoto in 2018.

I've been married since 2008 to the former Pam Cox Harrison, a '71 graduate of Carter HS.

I have a daughter, Shannon Betz Decker, who lives in Prosper with my 3 grandkids, Connor (12), Mason (11), Weston (4). They keep me very active with all of their sports activities. I also have 3 step children, Summer (NJ), Matthew (Dallas) and Christal (AZ), with a total of 6 more grandkids (2 boys & 4 girls). Makes the holidays a little crazy!

During some of my free time, I enjoy playing golf with some of my former classmates & friends and playing pickleball with the wife and my daily 2 mile walk around Flag Pole Hill area, weather permitting.

With the rest of my free time, I also enjoy my part time jobs, which includes, football and basketball. I have been working for the NFL/Cowboys for the past 35 years as a statistitian, the last 26 as the Stats Crew Chief, the last 23 years with the Cotton Bowl, 12 years with SMU football and occasional basketball games, Arlington Renagades of the XFL, Frisco Fighters of the Arena Football League, as well as other local Bowl games, NCAA Division 1 National Championship games the last 7 years, State High School playoffs the last 11 years. I am also a part of the selection committee for the DISD Athletic Hall Fame.

During the off season of the sports teams, my wife and I enjoy visiting the grandkids and taking some vacations on our own, which have included, Hawaii, London, Paris, Rome, Puerto Rico, Mexico, etc.

Hope to travel to Europe again this summer!

Tina was born and raised in Hawaii and is a retired flight attendant for Southwest Airlines.
