The Senior Picnic is coming up! If you don't have your tickets yet then you're about 50 years too late.

I have so many…. Being part of the first girls basketball team. Pioneering girl’s athletics at Sunset, Concert Choir, Musicals, Pep Rallies, Theatre, great teachers, being an Honor Graduate , and most important friends I’ve had for a lifetime! My favorite memories surround Concert Choir, and musical rehearsals and performances.

I was talked into going to the Library (probably my least visited place at Sunset) by Julie Clem. While sitting there at the table with her and a few others, a beacon of light comes through the ceiling and illuminates a girl on the next row and two tables down. Me: "JULIE, JULIE, do you know that girl over there in the blue pant suit?" Julie: "Yes I do". Well, that girl, Nan Suggs, later became my wife!!

One memory that comes to mind is standing front and center in the balcony with our team seated below us. The Bison Band playing our fight song as Brenda, Randy, Teri, James, Debbie, Wendell, Isabel and Richard get us all fired up for the big game that night. Suddenly, everything goes dark and gets so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Then, a single spotlight hits the center of the stage curtain illuminating 'Ole Bo as he gives the best motivation speech ever spoken.
