Wally and I hooked up our senior year. We both worked at grocery stores - Wally at Liberal on Third street in town and me a K-Mart on Woodman Drive. We enjoyed going to the SHE. It was always a fun and festive atmosphere where we could meet up with other friends. Wally was a great dancer and could balance two beers while moving up and down the lighted dance floor.... Going out on school nights was rough, especially the next morning, but we managed. Wally was a good friend and a lot of fun to hang out with. We had some fun times at school - including sneaking out of study hall one morning to go to a local bar for a beer and some pool... Wally always had a positive attitude, a devious side to ensure some fun, and a smile. I was sad when I saw that he passed. RIP my friend.
