Jeff and I were good friends. We went through grade school (Kemp) together and spent time together at WWHS., especially outside of class. What must be said about Jeff is that "what you see is not necessarily what you get". On the outside he might seem direct, blunt, even a little loud at times but on the inside, he had a big, soft heart. He also had a quirky sense of humor. An example of his sense of humor........ Jeff and I double dated in my car, and we went to a drive-in. I sat in the driver's seat with my foot (unknowingly) resting on the brake pedal. After about 5 minutes, this guy parked behind me banged on my driver's window and shouted, "GET YOUR FOOT OFF THE BRAKE PEDAL.......ALL I SEE ARE YOUR BRAKE LIGHTS ON!". He was not happy. From that point on, every time Jeff passed me in the hallway he would say "Take your foot off the brake pedal, Mark". Funny, funny guy...... Jeff was a really good guy. It shocked and saddened me to hear he was gone. Rest In Peace, my friend.....
