Ron and I grew up three houses apart. For all of us in the neighborhood he was Ronnie. His younger brother was the same age as my sister Judi. The four of us spent so much time together going between the two houses. Summers were filled with softball games in the "circle", catching lightning bugs, and going home when the street lights came on. Often we would head down to Pollock Road to see June, Karen and Diane Crawford, and Ben Roberts. He was a good friend and we all have lots of fond memories of those days.
