Kathy Kemper

1954-01-17 2023-11-01
Kathy Marie Kemper, age 69 of Riverside, OH went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2023. She was born in Bristol, TN to Ellen Marinelli and Albert Williams.

She is survived by daughter Leah (Chris) Davis, son Isaiah (Heather) Kemper, and adopted daughter Karen (Chuck) Denton. She loved her grandchildren: Chastity (Logan), Caleb, Aayla, Kemper, Ellie, Callen, and great-granddaughter Navy. She is also survived by her father Tony Marinelli, uncles Wayne and Bill Calton, her sisters-in-law Karen Kemper and Joyce (Kenny) Bryant. She will be deeply missed by her closest friends: Deloris (Jim), Dana (Bob), Bert (Ed), Dawn (Jerry), Toy (Chuck), as well as special cousins Ronnie (Maggie), Darlene (Charlie), and Marla (Mark). She will always be loved and remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Kathy was a hippie soul, fueled by her faith in Jesus. She loved all things in nature, earning her the nickname “Mother Nature”. She would often be found outside looking at the leaves on the “Jesus trees” or chasing the moon to get the best view. There were only two things she loved more than nature – Jesus and her family… in that order. Kathy never did anything without thinking of her husband Jack first. She always made sure her family was well taken care of. She loved “Her People” fiercely. Kathy worked as a nursing assistant at Kettering Hospital for 22 years. She worked on several different units, but found her calling on the Mother Baby unit. This is where she shined. When she retired, she was able to spend time at her “happy place” at the lake with her family and best friends. Chocolate ice cream, boat rides, hikes in the woods, feathers, and fall campouts are things that she will always be remembered for. Kathy always reminded her kids and grandkids to “buckle up” and “be safe”, but she was more concerned that her loved ones knew that Jesus was coming back soon and to “get ready”. She didn’t have to wait for Jesus to come back because He called her home early! After only 8 short days, she was reunited with her beloved husband and met the Lord. Just imagine her view of the moon now!

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:7
