Steve Clark

Steve Clark

Mr. Steven Devon Clark, a proud, loving husband and father, returned home to Jesus on January 2, 2021 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 25, 1957 in Guilford County, a son to Willis Devon Clark and Eula Coffey Clark.
Steve was first and foremost a humble disciple of God who deeply loved his family and friends. Steve enjoyed reading his Bible and teaching his family and others about the Word of God. He often reminded them to always put The Lord first and to be thankful in all situations. Throughout his life he held an unwavering faith in God and was always eager to share God with those who surrounded him. Steve loved spending time with his family and dogs. Steve was always there to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. He was often thought of as the man that would do anything for anyone. He was loving, kind, gentle and had a truly special way to tell jokes. He was a true Pittsburgh Steelers fan. An interest in which he shared deeply with his son. No matter what was going on the two never missed gameday. Steve loved playing tennis with his “tennis buddies” and family. He had played professionally and won many tournaments. He was a former tennis teacher at Oak Hollow Tennis Center. Steve truly enjoyed finding God in nature. He loved the feeling of standing on the top of a mountain. He enjoyed the powerful roll of the ocean and was captivated by the wonders of outer space. Above all though, he loved snow. He would get excited at the first indication of snow in the local forecast. Spending time with his family in the snow was one of his favorite things to do. He was also a member of The Summit Church. Steve worked in a family-owned fabric business for over 30 years.
