David Thomas Wesson, 65, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 19, 2022 at the High Point Hospice House. He was husband to Janice Wesson to whom he was married for 39 years. David was born on February 12, 1957 in Shelby, NC. He was the son of Lucile Driver Wesson of High Point, NC and the late Ray Wesson, Jr. He was brother to Lynn Wesson of Hillsborough, NC and the late Scott Wesson. David is survived by his son Jacob Wesson, his daughter in law Amber Wesson, and his grandchildren, Caroline and Finlay Wesson. David lived his life to the fullest. He felt deep connections with his country, which he dutifully served in the Army, and with nature. He was a musician and spent his life playing jazz trumpet. He was an archer and a hunter. He was a father, a brother, and a friend to many.
