Sean Canty

Born July 12, 1985, in Lake Forest, Sean Patrick Canty passed away suddenly Friday, June 18, 2010, at Advocate Condell Medical Center.
Sean was a 2004 graduate of Libertyville High School, where he participated in competitive swimming, soccer and Lacrosse. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Libertyville and was also a chef and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y.
Surviving are his parents, Timothy and Patricia Canty of Libertyville; his brothers, Matthew and David Canty, both of Libertyville; his sister, Sarah (Matthew) Hemenover and their son, Mason, of Chicago; and his grandmother, Rusty Canty of Ingleside. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert Canty, and Helen and Fred Cemashko. Memorials may be made to Save-A-Pet, 31664 N. Fairfield Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.
