Robert Callen

Robert John Callen (Bobby), 35 passed away Saturday, November 13, 2021.

Bobby was born in Clinton Iowa in 1986. Bobby graduated from Libertyville High school and attended and wrestled for Northern Illinois University and Eastern Illinois University.

Bobby was loved and adored by his family and friends and was survived by his loving parents John and Jane Callen, his best friend and brother Joey Callen, his loving baby sister, Jenna Callen, and his adoring children Saundra, Johnny, and Bronson Callen. In lieu of flowers, A memorial education fund has been set up for Bobby’s children, McMurrough Funeral Chapel, c/o John Callen, 101 Park Pl, Libertyville, IL 60048.

Sean Canty

Birth Date: 1985-07-12

Obituary:
Born July 12, 1985, in Lake Forest, Sean Patrick Canty passed away suddenly Friday, June 18, 2010, at Advocate Condell Medical Center.

Sean was a 2004 graduate of Libertyville High School, where he participated in competitive swimming, soccer and Lacrosse. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Libertyville and was also a chef and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y.

Surviving are his parents, Timothy and Patricia Canty of Libertyville; his brothers, Matthew and David Canty, both of Libertyville; his sister, Sarah (Matthew) Hemenover and their son, Mason, of Chicago; and his grandmother, Rusty Canty of Ingleside. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert Canty, and Helen and Fred Cemashko. Memorials may be made to Save-A-Pet, 31664 N. Fairfield Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.

Zachary James Marzec was called home to God on February 2, 2013 at the age of 27. Beloved son of Terry and Hana nee Ryndak. Cherished brother of Ryan and Dina (Michael) Lopez. Jeffrey Norman

Jeffrey T. Norman, 26, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 27. 2011, at his home. He was born July 21, 1985 in Lake Forest, and was a 2004 graduate of Libertyville High School, where he was a member of the laCrosse team. Jeff was also a graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind.

Surviving are his parents, Greg and Michelle Norman and sister, Jessica Norman, all of Libertyville; his grandparents, Thomas Mason of Northbrook and Patricia Norman of Homosassa. Fla.; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Jane Mason and Richard Norman.

Drew Palcek

Birth Date: 1986-04-04

Obituary:
Drew A. Mareskas-Palcek, 20, of Libertyville, IL passed away suddenly Sunday, November 12, 2006 from injuries received in an automobile accident near Davenport, IA. He was born April 4, 1986 in Lake Forest, IL and was a 2004 graduate of Libertyville High School where he was a member of the wrestling and cross country teams. He attended Lincoln College in Lincoln, IL and the College of Lake County in Grayslake. Drew was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Waukegan, had enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. and was to report for duty in San Diego on Monday, November 13th.

Surviving are his parents, David Palcek and Denise Mareskas-Palcek; his brother, Darren Mareskas-Palcek; and sister, DeAnna Mareskas-Palcek, all of Libertyville; his grandparents, Elizabeth Mareskas of Gurnee, Lois Palcek of Richton Park, IL and William Palcek of Chicago Heights; his uncle, James (Marilyn) Palcek of Lake Dallas, TX; and aunt, Christine (Jack) Belles of Franksville, WI.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Chris Mareskas.

Kevin Scheel

Born April 4, 1986, in Hoffman Estates, Kevin K. Scheel died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006, at his home. Kevin had attended Libertyville High School and was presently employed by Morton Manufacturing of Libertyville. He is survived by his father, Karl (Wendy) Scheel of Libertyville; his siblings, Patrick Scheel, Elizabeth Willis and William Willis; and his grandparents, Winston and Virginia Fleiss, and Minna Scheel. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Scheel (nee Fleiss). Janine Sznitko

Obituary:
Janine M. Sznitko, 35, of Kenosha, WI, died tragically and unexpectedly at home on September 4, 2021. Janine was born January 13, 1986 in Lake Forest, IL to Lester and Diane Sznitko. She graduated from Mundelein high school [Note: Janine attended LHS] and earned a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Dekalb University. Most recently she was pursuing a Masters Degree to become a Certified Public Accountant at Lake Forest College. Janine was employed with Domino Amjet of Gurnee, IL.

Janine worked hard and enjoyed life to the fullest; her competitive nature would show in softball and soccer. In her spare time she enjoyed snowboarding, skydiving, playing video games and fast cars. She was an animal lover and protector and adored her dog and cat.

Janine is survived by her mother, Diane (Tip) Gorsuch; sister, Denise Sznitko; aunt, Christine Magnuson; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Sznitko; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Genevive Sznitko; and maternal grandparents, Chester and Jean Wojcik.
