About

LOWLINC enables LOW’s older adults to be healthy, happy and connected on their own terms.

LOWLINC offers older adults at Lake of the Woods opportunities and choices to live safely and independently in their homes with the following:

  • Services for members, provided by volunteers (e.g., transportation, light home maintenance, friendly visits, and check-in calls, errands, tech support)
  • Engaging social activities for members and volunteers
  • Referrals to approved service providers (e.g., plumbers, electricians, landscapers) for members and volunteers
  • Health/wellness and educational opportunities for members, volunteers, and others in the community, often in collaboration with other organizations.

LOWLINC invites you and family and friends to walk in support of older adults living life on their terms.  Together we'll walk, have fun and help raise funds for our volunteer-led programs.  Enjoy music, food, family-friendly activities and visit resource tables!

"This wonderful organization provides social contact for many who
don't get out and about easily. The services are terrific, especially transportation."
