Praise Cathedral Worship Centre Inc. (PCWC) is excited about this Bike-a-thon - 'For Health We Ride' a community engagement which will benefit all stakeholders; the riders, volunteers, sponsors, and recipients of the monetary donations. Over the past twenty years, Praise Cathedral Worship Centre Inc. has been giving to various charities in Canada, the Caribbean, South America, and various countries in Africa, from the generosity of its membership. Since Covid-19 the financial landscape has changed significantly.
Proceeds from this Bike-a-thon will go to four charities; (1) Trillium Health Partners' Credit Valley Hospital - Cancer Care, (2) Lamb's River Community Health Clinic, Westmoreland, Jamaica, (3) Scholarships for students entering colleges and universities within Canada, (4) Missions - Africa. All of these charities strive to improve and enhancing the 'Health' of many nations, hence, 'For Health We Ride'.
PCWC Bike-a-thon will be held on July 20, 2024 starting at 9am from 6785 Millcreek Drive to Trafalgar and James Snow Parkway in Milton, Ontario, encompassing two cities; Mississauga and Milton.
Cohorts 1 Pro-Riders: Start from 6785 Millcreek Drive to James Snow Parkway, Milton, then turn around and ride back to 6785 Millcreek Drive.
Cohorts 2 - Grand Prix Riders: Start from 6785 Milcreek Drive to Trafalgar, Milton, then turn around and ride back to 6785 Millcreek Drive.

Registration cost of $20 includes rider's T-Shirt. Upon registration participants will indicate their size of T-shirt.
T-Shirts will be handed out on the day of the event.
Each Rider will aim to raise a minimum of $350.
BBQ lunch will be served at 6785 Millcreek Drive at 12 noon, or upon return of all bikers.
Note: All donations are greatly appreciated and will be allocated to the designated charities accordingly.
