Summer Music 2023: Aug 14, 21 & 28
Community members are invited to join PTSO players to read familar and loved orchestral pieces.

7PM to 9PM at the American Legion Hall
209 Monroe St, Port Townsend (at the corner of Water and Monroe streets)

 

August 14: Beethoven's Symphony no. 5

August 21: Holst's Planets: Mars, Venus, Mercury and Neptune

August 28: Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition.

 

*Participants are responsible for bringing their own music. Music is available FREE from IMSLP.org. For instructions on WHAT music to download and HOW to download it, go to PTSymphony.org/Summer-Music.

*There is no fee or charge to participate.

*Musicians should play at a high school level or better.

*Each session will feature a different piece of music, so having some facility at sightreading would be helpful.

*Chairs will be provided. 

*Please bring your own stand. Stand lights can be helpful.

*Doors will be open by 6:30.

*Sessions will begin at 7:00. Please be settled, warmed-up and tuned before 7:00, so sessions can begin on time.
