We were incredibly fortunate to have Dave Miller as both an exceptional teacher and an inspiring coach during our time at Seaside High. For many of us, Dave and his wife, Pam, were a legendary duo, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts and minds.
As the head of the English department, Dave's passion for literature and language was infectious. His classes were engaging, thought-provoking, and filled with lively discussions that sparked our intellectual curiosity.
Beyond the classroom, Dave stepped onto the field as Coach Miller, forming an unstoppable partnership with Coach Carl Stephenson. Together, they led the Varsity Football team to new heights. The 1974 season stands as a testament to their leadership and dedication. With an impressive record of 8-2, our Varsity team achieved a remarkable tie for first place in the South Sectional of the Monterey Bay League, leaving an indelible mark on the school's athletic history.
In 2019, a piece was written about our own Dave Miller, capturing the essence of his impact on many lives. It is a testament to the lasting impression he made on his students and the community.
