Our Silent Auction

An Auction!  Check this out:

Our cousin, Christine Savage, has painted a beautiful rendition of our homestead titled, Skellys of the Hollow. She is generously donating it for us to sell at an auction held on-line from June 15 through June 29. The winner will be announce on Saturday, June 29.

This is the home where Michael Francis and Esther Skelly lived and raised their children. The house stayed in the family through generations, and was the "go to" place for family gatherings.

The house is now owned by the Old Woodbury Historical Society.  It is called the Hurd House because that was the name of the first owner. The Old Woodbury Historical Society has been very kind to the Skelly decendents, allowing us access to it for our special occasions. The proceeds from this sale will benefit this society.
