Our Classes of '73 and '74 50 Year
Reunion Celebration Weekend
is now and forever another treasured memory
Over the weekend of Friday June 21 and Sunday June 23, 2024,
VHHS classmates made their way back to Sunland/Tujunga from all
across the country. Friends were reconnected, new friendships
forged, contact information exchanged, and future plans made.
Glasses were raised in toasts at a wonderful Friday evening
cocktails and appetizers gathering, and school day memories
came back during the visit to our Verdugo Hills High School
campus and picnic lunch in Keltner Glen on Saturday.
Even the unusually warm (okay, it was downright hot) weather
couldn't keep our Dons from touring from one end of the
campus to the other, and Team 73/74 kept everyone well-hydrated!
Saturday's class of '74 BBQ was a delicious success;
another opportunity for reconnected friends to share
life stories, funniest school memories, and great food
provided by the reunion committee.
Sunday's Celebration Dinner was exactly that
~ a great celebration!
With the beautiful vista of one of Porter Valley Country Club's
fairways as a backdrop, we socialized, paid homage to our friends
who are no longer here with us, dined and danced the night away.
We thank all of our VHHS classmates and guests
for enthusiastically becoming part of the collective memory
of this weekend that was 3️⃣ years in the planning;
5️⃣0️⃣ years in the making.
We missed all of our classmates who were unable to attend!
