We sure nailed these fashion statements - Chemin de fer and Ditto jeans, platform shoes, pea coats, and those funny beige suede Wallabee shoes.
Listened to 45's, LP albums and 8-track cassettes (which we later replaced with cassette tapes, which we eventually replaced with CD's, and then ultimately replaced those with MP3's and iPods, which have since been replaced with streaming music sites)

I remember going to an Assembly and hearing some girl belting out the Song Levon. It was so powerful that to this day I think of her every time I hear the song. I have no idea who she was, but that performance is a lifelong memory!

So many great memories: Acting for the school assembly with Dennis Quiles. Lunch with my buds that went from 4th grade through 12th with me. Undefeated JV Football season!

Acting in the Odd Couple with Rob Scott, under the direction of Jackie Tays. Up until then I didn't understand the expression, "he's really chewing up the scenery", for quantifying an actors ability/talent. I look back and cringe at how bad I was. But it was fun! And our groupies made it all the better. I also enjoyed my photography classes which inspired me to become a commercial photographer. My career lasted 43 years. A good life.

To the Class of 74...
So many things come to mind as I reminisce over 50 years ago. That I can still remember most of the names on the 50th reunion guest list is encouraging! I appreciate having shared those formative years with so many wonderful people, including several who are no longer with us. We were blessed to grow up in a community based environment with a lingering, "small town" feel. They were "Happy Days". I am grateful for my associations with so many and the memories...Prom, homecoming & football, baseball, and basketball seasons, coaches, school administrators, teachers, the Beach Boys and summer fun--the sadness of its ending and the excitement of a new school year. To so many friendships and associations with class mates of varied interests and backgrounds, so many of whom I will never forget, am grateful to have known, and with whom I have shared a very special part of life's incredible journey...thanks for the many, cherished memories!
