Comment: Following my love of music, I went to college at CSU majoring in classical viola. Then I moved to Colorado Springs to play in the symphony there. No way did that pay all the bills so I got a job in the travel industry... and quickly developed the travel bug.
My family had moved to Washington DC for their business and after 6 years I decided to follow them. I played in several orchestras and did free lance music jobs along with another travel job. It was so fun, I got to travel all over the world. It was during that time that I met my husband to be who worked at NASA. He was also from colorado.
Next job shift, I managed the travel office at the ABC News Bureau for about 10 years. I met lots of interesting news personalities. When I got tired of the travel stuff, I went back to school at GWU and started a career in landscape design.

Finally, we decided to move back to Colorado and we'll never leave again. Living in Pueblo, my husband and I volunteered at the Nature and Raptor Center. We rescued injured eagles, owls, falcons, etc, treated them so they could be released back into the wild as well as doing lots of education programs to teach people about them. It was the coolest thing I've ever done! At the same time, we played at contra dances all over Colorado (I had switched to old time fiddle by then and hubby played banjo).

Finally, we moved here to Loveland, and have found the most loving community. Family is all back in Colorado as well.
