Brian died peacefully in his sleep at the age of 60 on June 27, 2017.
He was born the fourth of eight children on September 11, 1956, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. After several family moves, Brian grew up in Denver, Colorado. He loved school sports, especially wrestling. Brian’s name is on the Wall of Fame for wrestling in Arapahoe High School in Centennial. He graduated from Colorado State University and began a successful career as a landman in the oil & gas industry. Brian loved camping, hunting, and fishing in his leisure time.
Brian married Cindy Behrends on February 11, 1995, in South St Louis, Missouri, where he changed his allegiance from the Colorado Rockies to the St. Louis Cardinals. He also switched careers and begin selling real estate.
Brian is survived by his wife Cindy and their three children, Molly, Richard, and Maddy.
