Beth Sullivan (Eno)

Marital status: Married
Children: 2
Occupation: Retired Software Consultant/Project Manager
Comment: I married Will Sullivan (Caz Class of 1965!) in 1981 and we have two sons and two grandchildren living in the Syracuse area so we get lots of family time. We even host a "Camp Sullivan" for our grandkids for two weeks in the summer.

I spent the last 20 or so years traveling extensively for work and living out of hotel rooms. It was interesting and intense and I'm grateful for all the work experience, but so glad to be retired! Now we just need to figure out what trips to plan to use up the millions of miles and hotel points.

For retirement, I've completed a certification for Art History through the Smithsonian Institute and continue taking online courses in art history.
Two Truths and a Lie - Tell us three things you've done since graduation ... but ONE of which is a LIE! At our dinner party your old friends and classmates will have fun guessing which one is the lie: 1. I have received training in high rise firefighting and mass casualty incidents at the Fire Department of NY (FDNY) training academy.

2. I was once on a flight where the engine failed and smoke filled the cabin. We had to make an emergency landing where they scrambled the airport fire trucks for our landing.

3. One of my students for software training had a heart attack during training and we had to call 911.

The Lie is: #3
It is all true except the young man had chest pains, not a heart attack. He was transported to the hospital, and everything checked out fine. It was actually a very scary incident as the young man was a firefighter on light duty which was why he was being trained on the software. He had recently been hospitalized and in a coma for 5 days related to on-the-job injuries. So glad he is doing okay, but it really made an impact on me. They always say if you're going to get sick, do it at FDNY as they take great care of their people.

Tim Sweetland

Marital status: Married
Children: 5
Occupation: Regional Sales Manager/ Real Estate Sales Agent
Comment: My work career began as the third employee ever hired at Marquardt Switches in Cazenovia. I got married in 1982 and had four children, 3 boys and a girl. After 13 years at Marquardt, I went to work for a competitor who moved my family to Raleigh, North Carolina, where we lived for 8 years. After my marriage ended, and while vacationing in Upstate New York, I reconnected with my high school sweetheart, Susan who was running The Artful Lodger Bed & Breakfast in Clinton with her 8 year old daughter. Susan I were married in 2002, and I convinced my boss to allow me to bring my job to New York. To our great good fortune, my ex-wife agreed to move back to New York with the children as well. I continued my work in sales (while helping Susan run the B&B) until 2012, at which time I left the corporate world and began selling residential real estate. After successfully running The Artful Lodger for twenty years, we closed it in 2017, allowing Susan to transition to a new career. My plan is to retire at the end of June 2024 and spend more time chasing after my 6 grandchildren, walking my dog, doing some travelling and wandering around a golf course or two.
