LAKE, Elliott A. age 44, of Xenia, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2009. He was born September 8, 1965, in Hartford, CT. He is survived by his wife, Sherry (Payne) Lake, whom he married February 4, 2006; his mother, Nora (Berger) Lake of Centerville; his father, Everett A. Lake of Washington Twp.; 3 step-children: Shirley, Kristopher and Kyle James; two brothers: Nolan A. Lake of Centerville; and Mark A. Lake of Newport Beach, CA; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Dave and Shirley Payne; brother-in-law: David (Tracy) Payne and sister-in-law: Katherine Payne, all of Xenia; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as many friends He was currently a Network Administrator with the Montgomery County Engineers Office. He was a board member with DMA and Hands On. He helped his daughter with various community volunteer activities. He was a wonderful husband, father, son and friend. A Gathering of friends will be held 6-8 PM on Monday, November 16th at McColaugh Funeral Home, Inc. 826 N. Detroit St., Xenia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to A Special Wish or to the American Diabetes Foundation.
