Comment: Mercifully retired after 40 years as a public defender, but still writing - fiction, nonfiction, whatever. Published a couple of books, a third on the way in October, 2025. My wife and I have been together for over 30 years, and we dote on our giant rescue mutt and used cat. Comment: I’m happily retired after a 42-year career in the newspaper business selling advertising. My husband Jim is also retired, and we spend a lot of time on our boat in Galveston Bay, near Houston. Our daughter Julie is a middle school band director in Frisco, Texas (far north Dallas-area.) She’s just an hour from our home in Arlington. She lived in Austin for the past 8 years. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook ‘em!) and taught high school band for 3 years before relocating to Frisco this summer. She lives with her 13-year old sweetheart of a cat, Sam.

Comment: Married 44 years to Diane Veino (Shaker Class of 1978) - four daughters and 6 grandchildren (#7 in Mid-September 2025). Retired Risk manager (Property & Casualty) and during the course of my career had the opportunity to travel the globe - Great Wall of China, most of Europe and North / South America. Prior to retirement was part of a team the built a new manufacturing facility (banknote printing) on the Island of Malta in the Mediterranean.
