Louise Guy
1936-12-29 2010-02-01At a young age Louise accepted Christ and was baptized at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the late Pastor Jesse E. Clark. As a young girl, she sang in the Sunshine Choir where she lifted her voice unto the Lord. These friends included co-workers from her many years at B.A.R. Co. and Wesley-Jessen where she retired. From 1975-1978 she was a member of New St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of Rev. James Taylor. She was a dedicated Recording Secretary and President of the Pastor's Aid. For the past 8 years, she was a faithful member of DuPage AME Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. James F. Miller.

Today, December 29, 2012, is my mother's birthday! If she was physically here on this side of Heaven, she would be closer to 80 yrs old...I can hear her now saying something like "wheww, chile these years are coming too fast". LOL! That's my mom, such a character, such a natural comedian, such a story-teller. HAPPY BIRTHDAY IN THE ARMS OF OUR LORD & SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST, MOTHER! MISSING YOU DAILY, LOVING YOU ALWAYS!! your daughters who remain on this side for now, Dawn & Georgette.
tribute by Dawn GuyWe miss you like none other, Mother. Georgette is not the same around here...I'm doing the best I can as I'm sure you knew I would. Your grandchildren talk of you often and so does your great-grandchildren. Everytime they visit and look at pictures around the house they say, "THAT'S GRANNY!" I much as I can help it, I will help them to remember and share the many stories that YOU shared with me. What a "GREAT DAY" it will be when we see each other again in the Kingdom...can't wait; meanwhile, LOVE & MISS YOU! Your loving daughter, Dawn
