Some of my most favorite family reuion memories involve my Big Mama, Rosie Mae Loftis! The reuinions we have today would not have been possible had she not put in the work to bring her family together. She wanted us to get to know each other, spend time together and make memories.
We were young when she started these reunions. From Union Springs, to Atlanta, and Cleavland, I'll never forget the hearing her passionate voice singing (as kids, we'd run around and laugh during the banquets), her boisterious laugh, and her infamous greeting, "Praise the Lord!"
Love ya' Big Mama! We'll make sure to hold true to your tradition of keeping the reunions on track for the family!
