Sister Annie Mae Lewis Johnson was born June 15, 1900. Her mother, Sister Susie Lewis and husband Jessie Johnson preceded her in death.

At an early age she united with the Mount Harmony Missionary Baptist Church. In 1943, she moved to Pine Bluff, Arkansas and united with a Baptist Church there and was a faithful member while there. She later returned to Ruston, Louisiana in 1958, and in 1962 reunited with the Mount Harmony Missionary Baptist Church and remained a faithful member until her passing on September 2, 1985 at 9:30 a.m.

The dignified, quiet and Godly manner of the life of Sister Johnson somehow attracted many people to her and her conscientious and diligent service as a Christian won many friends from people of all walks of life.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Dave James Morrow, Kalamazoo, Michigan; one foster son, Kenneth Harris of Detroit, Michigan; one foster daughter, Felicia Anderson of Little Rock, Arkansas; four brothers, Bruner Lewis of Grambling, Louisiana, Sylvester Lewis, Lou Mayfield and Norman Mayfield of Ruston, Louisiana, two sisters-in-law, Agnes W. Lewis and Martelle Mayfield of Ruston, Louisiana, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
