Provide information about yourself that you would like to be published the reunion book.: Lead NASA’s Space Resource Utilization technology development program to make propellant from the resources found on the moon and Mars. Lead the team that will land instruments to search for water on the moon in 2023 & 24 (Missions Prime1 & VIPER).
Comment: I'll be returning to work on Space Resources in May. The Defense Department's research arm, DARPA, is establishing a Space Resources technology development program. I'll be helping to get that program off the ground. Might be a two year effort, but that's OK, you can't golf or travel all the time and I was getting bored.

Provide information about yourself that you would like to be published the reunion book.: Life’s ambition is twofold: I never wanted to be in my 70s, sitting on my swing, thinking, “Gee, I wonder what it would have been like to do that…?” Second, I want to be the kind of guy you’d like to have a beer with…Kind of a drone in HS, I kept my head down and muddled through, astonished my teachers when I got accepted to CNC… got meningitis my first day of school, fought back to transfer to VA Tech and graduated in ‘79… even got a Masters in 1982 (what?). Went on government junkets as an Air Force officer for awhile, met Liz (also Air Force) in ‘84 overseas and got married in 1995 (looooong engagement). Doing well and living at Lake Monticello near the dreaded UVA. Call me to catch u. Living the dream, baby!
Comment: Served on this reunion committee for nearly three years. Served in USAF, ‘79-‘92. Married Elizabeth Lambert, Lt Col, USAF at my age of 40, one delightful daughter, Aubry, born 1998. Huge variety of jobs and positions (see LinkedIn). Been to 47 countries, so far…
