Charlene Munn, 45, died Tuesday, Jan.16, 2001, peacefully, in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. A lifelong resident of Newport News, Mrs. Munn was a graduate of Ferguson High School and Kee Business College. She drove a school bus for the Newport News Public School Transportation Department and served as former vice president and president of Hines Middle School P.T.A. Mrs. Munn was preceded in death by her father, Charles R. Crowell and bother, Lee Crowell. Mrs. Munn is survived by her husband, Larry F. Munn; her mother, Betty P. Crowell; and two sons, Jason Munn and Derek Munn.
