Gloria Jeanne Ford suddenly slipped into her external rest on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 in Hampton, Va. Gloria was born on Sept 11, 1955 in Newport News, VA to Thomas, Sr. and Elise Ford whom she is preceded in death. Gloria graduated with the Class of 1973 of Ferguson High School in Newport News, Va. She retired from Riverside Hospital in 2014. She was a very dedicated and proud mother, sister, and grandmother. Gloria accepted Christ at an early age at Zion Baptist Church in Newport News, VA and later joined New Mount Olive in Hampton, Va. Gloria leaves some very cherished memories to her children; Sherri Ford of Newport News, VA and Anthony Ford of Hampton, VA, two brothers; Thomas Ford, Jr. of Hampton, Va. and John Ford of Newport News, VA; grandchildren; Deonte Ford, Tyshera Little, and Anyla Jordan all of Newport News, VA. A very special aunt Louvania Collins along with nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins and friends.
