Pamela Lovelace Franklin, 57, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Aug. 13,2012, in Yorktown. Pam graduated from Ferguson High School, and worked various jobs in restaurants, telemarketing, Canon Virginia and 14 years for Bell Atlantic. She loved auto racing, her family and friends, and most of all her grandchildren, reading to them from the bible and teaching songs and art work. Pam will be sadly missed by all that knew her. Pam was preceded in death by her father, Gene Lovelace; stepfather, Charlie Cooper; and maternal grandmother, Jeffie Gibson. She is survived by two sons, Ryan Haney (Michelle) of Waxhaw, N.C, and Aaron Gundersen (Erica) of Yorktown; mother, Jean Quick Cooper of Caldwell, W.Va.; brother, Steve Cooper (Kelly) of Yorktown; four half brothers and sisters; four grandchildren, Kayleiand MacKenna Haney, Arianna and Avril Gundersen; nephew and niece, Joshua and Peyton Cooper, as well as many special cousins; and close friend, Kenny Meadows.
